Kolkata, Auto Desk: Bajaj Auto has officially launched its flagship motorcycle Dominar 400 in India with BS6 fuel emission standards. Talking about dimensions and design, it is similar to its old model. The company has launched the Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6 in two colors – Vine Black and Aurora Green.

The Bajaj Dominar 400, a powerful bike with a BS6 engine, has become more expensive than before. There is no change in the features of the bike.

The earlier price of the Bajaj Dominar 400 bike was Rs. 1,94,751/-. This was the first increase in the price of the bike after the BS6 model was launched in April 2020. Now the price of this bike has increased once again. The ex-showroom price (In Kolkata) of the Bajaj Dominar 400 bike with BS6 engine is now Rs. 2,03,017/-. That is, this bike of Bajaj has become more expensive than before.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Engine:

Talking about its engine, the performance and power output of Dominar 400 BS6 is the same as that of the BS4 model. The Dominar 400 BS6 offers a 373.3 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that provides 40 PS of power @8800 rpm and 35 Newton meter of Max torque @6500 rpm. This engine is equipped with the company’s triple spark technology with a DOHC setup.

The new BS6 engine gives the same power as the old BS4 engine. At the same time, there has been no change in the gearbox, it gets a 6-speed manual gearbox as before. The company has used a 6-speed slipper clutch gearbox with this engine.

Let us tell you that the Bajaj Dominar 400 is built on the KTM Duke 390 platform, but the KTM Duke 390’s engine produces more power than Dominar 400.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Features :

Talking about the features, the new Bajaj Dominar 400 is a touring-oriented motorcycle that gives the rider a commanding riding position with comfort. Apart from this, many modern features have been given in this bike of Bajaj. The bike has full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and a small LCD on the fuel tank. This powerful bike of Bajaj has a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine of 373.3cc. The weight of this bike is 187 kg. The bike has a 13-liter fuel tank.

Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6 gets all the features as the same as its old BS4 model. The bike has equipped with a full digital primary and secondary instrument cluster, twin-barrel exhaust, single-piece handlebar, diamond-cut alloy wheels, high-quality rearview mirror, split seat, rear grab features like rail are available. Along with this, a 3D logo will be found on the fuel tank and rear cowl.

Brakes and Suspension :

Talking about the suspension of this BS6 bike, this bike has 43 mm USD forks up front and multi-step adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. The Dominar 400 has a 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear, its braking system also gets twin-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Design & Color :

Talking about the design of Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6, its design has been kept the same as the BS4 model, but the company has made some updates. The company has made this bike available in two color options Aurora Green and Vine Black.

Price :

The Bajaj Dominar 400 with BS6 engine is priced at Rs. 2.03 lakhs ex-showroom in Kolkata. Now, Bajaj Auto has also increased the price of Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6, a larger version of Dominar 250, marginally compared to the old BS4 model.

According to the information, a few months after the launch of this bike, the price of this bike was increased by approx. Rs 9,000/-, after which its price was increased to Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom).
