Kolkata, Auto Desk: Suzuki launched the new sports bike Gixxer SF 250 in India. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 ex-showroom price (in Kolkata) of Rs 1.80 lakh. Suzuki says that this new bike will usher in a new era in the country’s bike market. The design of this full-faired bike is European style. With the new bike, Suzuki has entered the fully-faired 250cc segment in the market.
Many new and good features will be included in this bike. Not only this, for the convenience of customers, the company can give a 5-year standard warranty on this bike. Actually, the company has made such a plan to improve its trust in the minds of customers.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Engine & Performance :
Talking about the power performance of the engine Gixxer SF 250, it has a 249 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 4-valve (SOHC technology), Oil cooled, fuel-injected engine for strength. Its engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox with an electric engine. This bike has no kick start option.
Its engine generates maximum power of 26.5PS @ 9300 rpm and peak torque of 22.2 Nm @ 7300 rpm. It has Suzuki’s Oil Cooling System (SOCS technology). For safety, the bike will feature disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Braking & Suspension:
Suzuki Gixxer 250 features dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) for safety. Speaking of the suspension features of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, its front features coil spring, oil damped telescopic forks. At the same time, swing or type mono-shock suspension has been given in its rear.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has a length of 2010 millimeters, width 740 millimeters, and height of 1035 millimeters. At the same time, its wheelbase is 1345 millimeters, and ground clearance 165 millimeters. Apart from this, its seat height is 800 millimeters.
Design & Looks:
Talking about the style of the bike, the Gixxer SF 250 has been made keeping in mind the current GSX series. But some newness will also be seen in it. Also, clip-on handlebars can also be seen in it. Apart from this, the company can use new body graphics in it. The bike will get a sharp-looking full-LED headlamp, clip-on handlebar, split seats, double-barrel exhaust, and 17-inch double-spoke alloy wheels. Its instrument panel is fully digital. The bike has a dual exhaust system, which looks like a 150cc Gixxer.
The Gixxer SF 250 has telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS. It weighs 161 kg and its fuel tank capacity is 12-liters.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is available in two color options – Triton Blue and Metallic Matte Black.
Price:
Suzuki Motorcycle India (Suzuki Motorcycle India) has increased it’s Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 prices in India. The company has made the prices of these motorcycles expensive by approx. few thousand rupees. The Gixxer 250 is now priced @ Rs 1,70,161/- (ex-showroom) and on-road price approx. @ Rs 1,97,076/- in Kolkata. At the same time, Gixxer SF 250 has been priced @ Rs 1,80,861/- ex-showroom in Kolkata. Whereas, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition has been priced @ Rs 1,81,661/- ex-showroom in Kolkata.
Apart from the increased prices, there has been no change in these bikes. Its engine specifications and features are the same as the previous model.
It will compete with:
Many 200cc-250cc bikes are available in the market. This bike will directly compete with the Yamaha Fazer 25 and Honda CBR250R ABS, which are priced at Rs 1.44 lakh and Rs 1.67 lakh respectively. Apart from these, the KTM RC 200, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, and Bajaj Dominar 400 bikes will also compete with it, priced at Rs 2 lakh, 1.60 lakh, and 2.03 lakh respectively ex-showroom in Kolkata.
