Kolkata, Auto Desk: TVS’s XL 100 moped bike launches primarily aimed at the rural market. Judging from the point of sale in the Indian market, the TVS XL 100 is only after the TVS Heavy Duty Super XL (70cc.).

The TVS XL100, powered by a 99.7cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, delivers 4.3bhp and 6.5Nm of torque. Its engine is a single-speed gearbox. The TVS XL-100 is capable of carrying a payload of up to 130 kph and has a maximum speed of 60 kmph. The front of the wheels has telescopic suspension and the rear has dual hydraulic springs. There are drum brakes for both wheels. The front has an 80mm and a large 110mm rear drum. And the mini-scale fuel tank is capable of carrying only four liters of fuel. The TVS XL100 is claiming efficiency of 67kmpl mileage.

This TVS XL 100 is a four-stroke moped designed to meet the growing needs of today’s customer and is one of the most expensive two-wheelers in the market for the most affordable, reliable and multi-utility.

XL100 Engine:

The TVS XL100- is powered by a 99.7 cc-single cylinder horizontal layout engine capable of producing 4.3 PS @ 6000 RPM of power and 6.5 Nm @ 3,500 RPM of torque. Although the moped is small in size, the XL 100 can carry loads of up to 130kg. The bike has no clutch and manual gear. The car’s great sound of its engine makes it distinguishable from another bike.

XL100 Design:

The design of this moped is of a modest size that looks much like the frame of a bicycle. There is a footboard for carrying luggage and having a wide rider seat. The engine is located just below the footboard. Now TVS designs the fuel tank on this model a little differently.
